The floors will shake at the 2022 Legion Open, Nevada State Championships and Mountain South WSO Championships! This is a USAW sanctioned weightlifting meet occurring in conjunction with the Legion Sports Fest. The competition lifts include 3 attempts in the snatch and 3 attempts in the clean & jerk with the best made attempt in each lift combined for a total score.
- Legion Open – this option to open to all USAW members.
2. Nevada State Championships – this option is open only to USAW members with NV mailing address in BARS. Nevada State records can be set.
3. Mountain South WSO Championships – this option is open to USAW members that live in AZ, NM, NV or UT, as well as collegiate athletes looking to participate in a NUQ. Nevada State and WSO records can be set.
These competitions will be run concurrently.
Location
The event will take place during the Legion Sports Fest at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. Competition will be held inside the Legion Sports Fest Expo Hall 2.
Schedule
Saturday, October 8, 2022: First lift of the day at 10:00am.
Sunday, October 9, 2022: First lift of the day at 10:00am.

Snatch:

The athlete will be credited with the best attempt
Clean & Jerk:
Three attempts given
The athlete will be credited with the best attempt
All athletes are required to wear a singlet, all current USAW apply.
Overall
Medals given for highest total by Sinclair. No medals will be awarded for snatch or clean & jerk.
